I can’t explain all the emotion that surged through me as I prayed Friday night. Walking in I started looking around, and I felt so humbled to take part in such a monumental night with my fellow W|E’rs around the room. It was so inspiring and heart-filling to see that Pastor Miles brought together a community who were focused on asking God for mighty requests. As I was praying, I kept thinking of Revelation 5:8, where John is describing heaven and he mentions that when the saints pray, their prayers are incense filling 28 golden bowls near God’s throne. Beautiful!!! My frequent request to God was that our prayers for His movement in our ministry would be sweet to His senses, and that He would be mighty and quick to answer. There were moments of extreme physical exhaustion, but it was the emotional exhaustion that was almost hourly filled back up, and that kept me going through the night. All in all, it was a night I can’t put into words, but it has already affected my personal prayer life in a big and wonderful way.
More should come next time!!!
YES! It was so cool to see over 60 people gather together to seek the Father. God was so pleased. I can’t wait for the next one!
