A Story of Hope

From Evelyn Sanchez:
About 5 months ago God reconnected me with someone I used to date three years ago… He was at a very dark place and about to give up on God 100%. He was truly about to jump over the edge…
As I prayed for Him the Lord asked that I go to Him and share my testimony, so I did.
A few weeks later… I prayed over a yellow wristband that has HOPE written all around it. I prayed:
Lord, I’m praying over this wristband because I am about to give it someone that really needs you. As you already know, he is losing all hope and is not sure that he believes in you anymore. I beg that you shower him with your Love. I pray that you bombard his life with your powerful presence. I pray that everywhere he turns to or turns away from – You are there… Lord, invade his life like a storm. That it be undeniable that you, my Lord, do exist and that you are ALWAYS WITH HIM…
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
(Paraphrased)
The Lord continued to show Himself to Enrique in every way and has been transforming his mind ever since.
Among many other lies from the devil, he thought that there was no end to depression. He believed the old roots from his past generations were there for good. He lived in fear and was controlled by his past…
… an angry soul… a broken heart… a lonely mind.
… and then there was Jesus…
He entered his life and has since brought him to life. He is one who now has a positive way of thinking, has gained strength in places he thought were dead, fights for his life and for change, seeks the Lord…
Bondage was interrupted by HOPE that led him to baptism three months later… Freedom has been received through our Lord Jesus Christ.
One blessing after the other… most excitedly, second to his salvation of course, we are now engaged to be married.
It turns out that we were both baptized by Miles, and pretty soon, he will be the one uniting us as one and releasing us out into the Kingdom as a married couple, to share that same HOPE with all the souls we encounter!
Just another one of God’s wonderful works…
All the glory goes to God.
Eternally grateful…
