World Missions
Central in Waters Edge is the belief that God desires to use you to make a difference in our world. In following the path of Jesus, we have a sense that we should go and serve our world and help hurting and broken people…we were created with an ability to do this.
We do not believe in hand-outs, but in serving God by bringing order out of chaos. Both within our country and beyond, we organize ways for you to serve so that you would realize this truth: The Kingdom of God is at hand because you are present, and you are a carrier of His Kingdom on earth.
This year we are partnering with Mission to the World (MTW) and 12Stone to send teams on 10 trips to every continent except Antarctica and Australia! We will be going to South Asia, Greece, Africa, South America, Haiti, Guatemala, Canada, and New York. Please join us in prayer over these trips, and keep an eye out for new opportunities!

Mozambique
October 2010 (All 12Stone) (Currently Open to Applicants!)
12Stone Church is partnering with World Hope International to build 100 wells in Mozambique over the next three years. We have committed to funding and building wells in order to ensure safe drinking water for the residents in these communities. With the current contaminated water sources, Mozambique’s child mortality rate remains high and water borne illnesses are common. With new wells, residents will be healthier and have greater opportunity to produce crops because of usable water and the time they will save by not walking 3-7 miles to draw water. 12Stoners will have the opportunity to travel to Mozambique and help with this effort while sharing the eternal well of life, Jesus Christ.
